  I stopped coming here for a while until they got Angela back. She's the reason I come here, so sweet and friendly. The funny thing is I've heard the same thing from so many others... She makes the place, happy to be back.

  I will no longer be going here for dinner. They are unfriendly to vegans and getting more so with each menu change. I highly recommend vegans go elsewhere. I asked about vegan options tonight and was told maybe a salad. In the past you could get a veggie sandwich at least. Now that is no longer an option. When our waitress offered to check with the chef he said he could maybe do a salad or maybe grill a few vegetables but they really did not have anything there for vegans. We opted to leave and instead go down to Matteo's where I was able to get a vegan sandwich or choose from other options that were or could be made vegan. Those were not options at Bella Bru. Needless to say that after being a loyal customer for many years (we have lived in the area for over 35 years) I will no longer be going there. It seems like they are going backwards. Most restaurants are offering more diverse dietary options and Bella Bru is choosing to eliminate them. I also highly recommend El Papaguyo for vegans as they have a large and diverse menu. Bella Bru fails to understand that there is a large vegan community in the area and they apparently opt not to serve them.
